Frequently asked questions

The silver-plated version is a more affordable alternative that still offers great quality, designed to be accessible to everyone, especially with the continuous rise in silver prices. It has a hand-finished jewelry-grade finish and the same design as the 925 silver version, though it's slightly lighter, a touch brighter, and not solid.

The gold-plated option offers a sophisticated golden tone, made with a high-quality metal alloy and precision 18k gold plating. Like the other versions, it has a hand-finished jewelry-grade finish, with a unique touch from the gold plating's characteristic shine.

The 925 silver version, on the other hand, is solid, slightly heavier, and has a subtly more matte finish. It's genuine jewelry, made from a top-quality alloy with 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% germanium pre-alloy, resulting in the 925 grade.

Avoid contact with chemical products – such as soaps, perfumes, oils, colognes, and alcohols – as these can damage your piece and cause irreversible damage. Casual contact with water isn't a problem, but contact with seawater or water with a high chlorine level is not recommended. We also don't recommend wearing your jewelry during physical activities, since scratches can occur and excess sweat can affect its shine.

Keep in mind that silver naturally tends to oxidize, which can cause darkening in some cases. Our germanium alloy has anti-oxidizing properties, making this process quite difficult, though people with elevated uric acid levels may notice faster darkening of their pieces – which isn't a problem. If this happens, simply clean your piece with a silver polishing cloth or similar product.

For international orders, we currently do not accept exchanges or returns. All international sales are final.

Today, we maintain our official catalog, full of our most classic models and additions that currently make sense for the collection. We also run exclusive, limited-run releases that aren't part of the permanent catalog. These releases stay available on our site for a set period and may later be discontinued, with or without the possibility of returning.

Over time, we've created hundreds of pieces of jewelry. If you've seen one that isn't available in our current catalog, it's likely part of one of these limited editions. Keep an eye out and grab your piece as soon as you can, since we can't guarantee the availability of any model, and any piece can be discontinued without notice.

All of our jewelry is conceived, designed, planned, and produced by us. We don't resell or work with dropshipping or similar production models. All of our pieces are the creative property of Above Average (©) and are made in-house.

We're very proud to say that all of our products are made in Brazil and that we work exclusively with Brazilian suppliers for every type of raw material, reinforcing our commitment to strengthening the domestic market and supporting sustainable processes.
